(L-R) Do Not Disturb // Rouge // Pillow Talk

I love that time of year when I have saved up loooooads of Boots advantage points and I get to treat myself :) I was walking through town the other day and felt like a treat, but my bank account isn’t exactly my best friend right now, so I popped into Boots and found out I had £16 worth of points saved up. I went straight to the make up section (obviousllllly) and saw that a few of the brands had 3 for 2 on. I’ve read a couple of posts on Rita Ora’s collection for Rimmel, I didn’t go for any of the lip crayons because I have waaay too many lipsticks I need to use up and swatch. So with pastels in this season I decided to buy a beautiful mint green and pale blue colour and a classic rouge colour – this has to be my favourite colour of nail polish ever – I may have a growing ‘rouge’ collection that probably needs a ruthless clear out.

DSC_0033 DSC_0035Do Not Disturb – I thought this was simply just a mint green colour – but on application its actually got specks of glitter in – very very small ones, it gives the colour a little shimmer. I had to apply two coats on my nail and would probably go for a third, just to make it extra opaque.

Rouge – Need I say more!? Absolutely LOVE it. In the pictures it comes across as very dark, but when the light catches it, hints of the dark maroon rouge colour come through. Even throughout the summer I wear dark nails and this is my go to colour.

Pillow Talk – Firstly can I just say, I love the name of this polish – but again I would apply three coats to make the colour stronger and last longer. It is the most beautiful shade of pastel blue and I think it will go really well with my pink coat. Surprisingly I don’t have a pale shade like this in my nail polish collection.

The formula is the usually Rimmel 60 seconds polish (I wouldn’t say it does dry in 60 seconds but it is pretty speedy)
