Review | Rimmel London ~ Salon Pro Peppermint & L’Oreal ~ Top Coat Confetti.

I am currently sat on the sofa at home in my leopard print onesie, chilling watching corrie, not a care in the world :) today I finally finished my first year at uni!! Yipeeeeeee. It is such an amazing feeling not to have essays and exams hanging over your head, I can now finally get back to blogging properly, so forgive me if my May favourites post is a bit late.

As soon as the exam ended I headed into Superdrug to get some new nail varnishes (like I needed them but who cares!) earlier in the week I had seen a couple of bloggers reviewing the L’Oreal Top Coat Confetti, I haven’t really jumped aboard the crazy nail train, with the feathering polishes and confetti it just isn’t very me. But I thought I would go a little crazy since it is the end of first year ;)
The camera doesn’t really pick up the beautiful colour of the Rimmel nail polish but you will see in the next picture. I thought I was picking up a minty green colour like the MUA Pistachio Ice Cream, but it is more of a turquoise colour, kind of like the Barry M Hi Shine Gel Nail Polish in Greenberry. At the moment the ‘Salon Pro’ range is on offer at Superdrug for just £2.99 making it cheaper than some of the Barry M nail varnishes!! The L’Oreal polish comes in at £3.99 which is the same price as Barry M’s confetti varnishes.
The colour is just beautiful, so perfect for summer!! Which I feel for the UK is definitely here, lets just hope it stays… The Rimmel polish, went on beautifully, I did need to apply two coats to get the full colour though. It also dried pretty quickly and including the confetti top coat it was all done and dry within half an hour :) the confetti is amazing, it is clear, the black and white dots are the only things to show up. It gives the nail a very matte effect, I haven’t applied a glossy top coat yet as I thought it might ruin the effect but I might do this later and let you know if it makes it glossy. I am pretty excited to try it on its own as well!! Who else has been loving this crazy nail trend?

Lots of Love Daisy xoxo
