I never officially got on board with the Clinique chubby sticks last year and its only in the last few months I decided to jump on the bandwagon – and I absolutely LOVE them – it’s like using a crayon to apply your lipstick, so quick and easy. These Revlon lip balms go on so smoothly and leave a subtle hint of mint which is really refreshing.

DSC_0078 DSC_0079Darling – I won this colour in a giveaway and I think it is only available in the US – the most similar colour in the UK is called ‘Cherish’. I’d never usually buy a lilac coloured lipstick, but I’m quite glad I stumbled upon it. It’s a really lovely purple colour and quite subtle, a perfect holiday colour as its something different. This is a balm stain rather than a lipstick, so it has a glossy feel and look to it, it doesn’t last as long on the lips but is much more hydrating.

DSC_0069 DSC_0070Elusive – This is my favourite colour from the collection!! Such a beautiful pink, this is definitely a pink I’d be happy wearing everyday. The colour lasts so long as well, and when it fades it doesn’t leave that awful ring around your lips, as the colour blends so nicely in. This gives a lovely matte finish, very silky and smooth.

DSC_0081 DSC_0082Striking – This is another one of the Matte Balms. I definitely struggle more than most finding the perfect red. I’ve never got on well with blue toned reds but orange toned reds are my absolute favourite, the warm tones really suit my skin tone and it definitely makes my teeth look whiter … bonus! I think that the Matte Balms tend to stay on longer than the Lacquer Balms.

When my student loan comes through I will definitely be buying some more of these lip balms, fingers crossed 3 for 2 at Boots is still on!
