Review | Get Your Legs Out With Kiehl’s & Origins.

Sadly my holiday in France is coming to an end and I will be back in the UK tomorrow, probably greeted by rain the second I step off the plane. I have had one or two sunbathing days, and caught a glow, so I will have to work more on my tan when I am in New York. I just thought I’d share with you my prepping I did before I came away so that my skin was in the best condition to get the perfect tan.

Firstly the night before I flew, I had a long hot bath and used Origins Modern Friction Dermabrasion ~ link. This stuff is absolutely amazing, and probably one of the best exfoliators I have used. You can tell my one is old as they have changed the packaging now, but how I use it is I quickly wet my skin hop out of the shower/bath and lather the stuff on my legs especially, and give them a good scrub so you can feel it really exfoliating. Then back in the shower/bath to rinse it off. The formula is quite thick so it sticks to your skin really well.

After I got out the bath my skin needed some moisture put back in, I love Kiehl’s especially their Creme de Corps range, I bought this bottle when I was in New York last year, I simply chose the light-weight version as it was slightly cheaper but this year I think I am going to go for the original. Creme de Corps Light-Weight Body Lotion ~ link has more of a smell than the original I think, you can definitely smell the Olive Fruit Oil which personally I love, but for those of you who don’t like olives I would steer clear. This sinks beautifully into the skin, and doesn’t leave a horrible greasy residue on your skin.

It is really important to regularly exfoliate your skin, not just because you are going on holiday, but get a routine where you do it once/twice a week. It removes dead and dry skin cells leaving you with healthy glowing skin.

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer!

Lots of Love Daisy xoxo
