In the last year Benefits marketing campaign involving bloggers has been amazing – I really admire the effort the brand seem to be going to. They have realised how influential bloggers are in the beauty industry… I don’t know about you guys but I just know I have to have their latest product ‘Gimme Brow’ after reading some of my favourite bloggers reviews. So because of this I know that every other blogger has reviewed this product, but here is my review to add to the mix.
I was given this product in October as a birthday present for my 21st and at the time my skin was actually behaving itself! It wasn’t blemished and it wasn’t oily … but oh how things have changed. So naturally my opinion on this product has too. At first I didn’t really have a need for the primer, my make up lasted all day without slipping etc. But in the last few months I have been reaching more and more for it, my skin has become oily around my nose and cheeks and in the same area my pores have become more visible. I now apply The POREfessional after I have moisturised and before I apply my foundation, I leave it to set for a couple of minutes and then apply my foundation. Since using it I have noticed my pores are less visible and my nose isn’t as oily during the day. The tube is only small so I do just tend to place it on the areas I need, to make the product last longer because it isn’t cheap either! Coming in at nearly £25 it certainly is at the higher end of the primer market.
The texture is like silicon, soft and smooth, the product doesn’t really have a scent which I quite like, it becomes invisible on your skin. You just blend it in and let it settle. Since this product has been on the marketing Benefit have launched an ideal companion, The Porefessional Agent Zero Shine – with my skin now being more oily I would love to try this out!
