Yesterday I attended a Newcastle Fashion Week event at House of Smith, where I got to dress like Cher from Clueless. If you want to read all about it and see my classic 90s outfit just click here. It felt like I hadn’t painted my nails in ages, I was giving them a break as my nail started to become weak with all the procrastination going on. Like I’ve said on this blog before I absolutely love red polishes, it is such a classic colour, from deep maroons like Rouge Noir to a bold bright red. When I left the house yesterday the sun was shining so I opted for a bright cheery red, however as soon as I got off the metro boom, it started raining and hailing. Oh well at least my nails were bright!
I was given this nail polish as a present from Hallie, as she knows that I love the colour, it doesn’t mater how many reds I have each one is different … I promise!! I have always loved the quality of OPI nail polishes, they are definitely worth the splurge every now and again.
It is such a beautiful cherry red! The formula is the classic OPI polish, it goes on so smoothly. I usually apply two applications to get the full opaque colour.
Even though dark nails are classic for Autumn/Winter, I love to wear them all year round. I think they are classic and look lovely with a tan!
I am majorly suffering from the Monday Blues that and a whole lot of uni assignments. Boooo. Until next time!
