Lifestyle | Shake Shack & The Gabbis Head.

Firstly I want to apologise for the hundredth time for abandoning my blog… I have reasons though!! After my work experience at The Observer (which you can read about here) I started working at a PR company ‘Gaby Jerrard PR’ she specialises in comedy, which isn’t really my area of expertise but after a couple of weeks now I feel like I have picked up the hang of things, apart from cold calling… I need to try harder at that! But it is sooo scary. Anyway, luckily because she understands the world of PR I have been lucky enough to work and nip out to blog events. (Which I will be blogging about soon!!)

Yesterday afternoon I met up with Megan McMinn from the Briar Rose Blog. I first met up with Megan back in 2012 on the set of Dahlia’s Summer video which you can check out here (it also features the lovely Liv Purvis) So we met up in Covent Garden for lunch and I think as bloggers it is obligatory to go to Shake Shack these days, or even Five Guys! But we both hadn’t been to Shake Shack so thought we’d try it out! Safe to say neither of us were disappointed and we left soooo full.

In the bottom right hand corner is a section for pet food! Only the Americans…

I ordered a Shack Burger, Fries and a Peanut Butter Shake.

It came to just under £13, which I suppose isn’t that bad for London, but I have been up North for so long this feels so expensive!!

After lunch we thought we would go and check out Benefits latest adventure, The Gabbis Head… So Benefit have taken over the top floor of a pub and painted the whole place PINK, it is truly AMAZING. They have make up counters, Benegirls on hand to help with anything and a bar filled with gorgeous Benefit themed cocktails. The pictures don’t do it justice, you have to check it out for yourselves…

Truly amazing!! I had such a fantastic day with Megan, and after two years it was so nice to catch up. We both attended the ASOS #EpicSummer event which I will be blogging about later on!
