I wouldn’t quite say I was back into the full swing of blogging, but I do know over the next 6 months things are going to be a bit rocky over here and I ask you lovely lot to bear with me. I will post when I am procrastinating, or I get the odd day to myself…
Before Christmas I attended an event at my local Body Shop where I got my make up done by one of the girls, we were treated to £15 off a £30 spend, so I bought a few goodies one being this Colour Crush lipstick in the shade Hot Date (335).
This was my first lipstick from The Body Shop, and I have to say I’m not disappointed. I had read some reviews about their previous lipstick collections, some people were saying they weren’t very pigmented and didn’t last very long but the Colour Crush collection is quite the opposite. I have been so happy with how pigmented the colour is and the lasting strength, I can happily have a cup of tea and bacon sandwich and my lipstick still looks perfect. I snapped a couple of #selfies wearing the lippie!
I absolutely love the colour, and wear it on a casual day to day basis, one thing I particularly love is that when the lipstick starts to fade it doesn’t leave that horrible ring around your lips that quite often very red lipstick leaves. Each lipstick costs £10, which I think for this quality is a very reasonable price, but also The Body Shop always has special offers on so have a hunt around online for some savvy buys.
I hope everyone had a lovely January.
