Beauty Review | Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.

I have been so busy lately, its ridiculous. I recently got a retail job in Newcastle city centre which has definitely kept me busy over the Black Friday weekend and then I’ve got my uni work too. My blog has taken a wee bit of a back seat but hopefully once uni has broken up in 2 weeks time I will have more time to take photos when we get the occasional blue sky. Anyway todays post is all about Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water, which has been quite the handy beauty tool with all my early mornings and late nights.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

The only other micellar water I’ve used has been by BioDerma, I got on really well with the product but it was pre blog and when I used to just use face wipes (shock, horror, I know!) I picked up this bottle on offer at Boots about a month ago now. Firstly I love the packaging, it is clean and simple exactly how I want my skin to be after using the product. For regular blog readers or people that know me, know that my skin is particularly sensitive all of a sudden, acne prone and oily, lucky me. So of course I was a little apprehensive about using the product, but its safe to say after 4 solid weeks of use, I haven’t broken out in really bad spots because of the product… So already it gets a massive thumbs up from me.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Every night I wash my face with a cleanser to remove all my make up, then I use a face wash which contains Tea Tree and Peppermint, then I use my Garnier Micellar Water to get rid of stubborn eye make up in particular – but also even after washing my face twice, I still find foundation residue, this micellar water picks up everything. My skin is left feeling really fresh and clean, but not stripped of its natural oils, which is really important when it comes to dry and oily skin types. I will definitely be repurchasing this soon, and keep an eye out for it in a YouTube empties/favourites video. (I haven’t quite decided which one I am going to do first)

It is available at Boots for £4.99.

I can’t wait to get my hands on this! This is not yet available in South Africa but I will definitely be getting it when I visit the UK in December :)
