Beauty Review | Garnier Express 2 in 1 Eye Make Up Remover.

A mid week post? How unusual – I am not going to commit to anything and say this is the new me, but lets just see how long this lasts! I am trying to be way more organised, every time I take part in a Twitter chat we all have the same problems, being organised and remembering to schedule things in, and on top of that taking photos when the lighting is just right.

Stubborn eye make up is one of my hates in the make up industry, it is one of the main reasons I just didn’t get on with Benefit’s They’re Real mascara… then they went and brought out their own special remover, so I am guessing I wasn’t just the only one having this problem. All of that aside I recently bought the They’re Real Push Up Eyeliner and that is fairly stubborn to remove as well, more so the residue which leaves me with the biggest panda eyes EVER. Second hate of mine is mascara transferring onto pillow cases because it hasn’t been removed properly – mother you are the worst for this! Anyway, rather than shelling out a small fortune for specialised eye make up removers, I bought this nifty remover from Garnier.

I love the fact the formula is an combination of an oil and water, I think that the oil is a really effective way of removing stubborn mascara/eyeliner, whilst nourishing the skin. All you have to do is shake the bottle…

I keep two bottles of this, one in my bathroom cabinet for everyday use, but also another bottle on my dressing table – it is perfect for dipping in a cotton bud and removing eyeliner flicks that have gone wrong, or if you annoyingly sneeze whilst your mascara is still wet – we’ve all been there! I usually pick up a couple of these bottles when they are on 3 for 2 at Boots to go alongside my other fav Garnier product, their Micellar Water (which I have already reviewed) – amazing affordable dupe for Biodermas.

What other products do people use for removing stubborn eye make up? I’ve heard baby oil is also quite good…
