Beauty Review | Essence Long Lasting Lipstick.

During the summer I attended a fantastic blogging event with Essence cosmetics. It was the first time I had ever heard of the brand and we were given a mammoth of products to work our way through. I have eventually got round to writing a small review on a selection of my favourite lipsticks.

Essence Longlasting Lipstick

Firstly, I think the packaging is simple and sleek. I love that you can see the colour of the lipstick by looking at the small plastic rim. It makes the process of trying to find your favourite one much easier.

Quite clearly I am a fan of the pinky coloured lipsticks, I think they go with most make up looks and you can wear them during the day to compliment the no make up make up look.

What makes Essence fantastic is the price; on average their products are just £2! Incredible for the quality you are getting, each of the lipsticks is creamy, and as you can see heavily pigmented. Ok so the last quality is never going to be as good as your trusty MAC or Chanel, but the staying power is still pretty high! I can apply it in the morning attend a lecture, have a cup of tea and it is still there! I am so impressed with this brand, and how on top of trends they are, I am yet to check my local Wilkinsons for the new Autumn/Winter range but maybe I will do this week as a little procrastination activity ;)

Who else has tried Essence?

These look gorgeous, definitely a lot classier than £2! I’ve heard their lip liners are good too, definitely checking the brand out. I don’t mind touching up anyway!
