Beauty Review | Benefit Cosmetics Majorette Blush.

I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas, I haven’t posted on here in a while because I have been enjoying the festive period with friends and family, and of course work! There is no rest for people who work in retail, I was at work for 8am on Boxing Day… safe to say I won’t be doing that again. Today I have been pretty lazy as it is my day off, so I thought I would catch up on blog reading and do a quick post.

Benefit Majorette Blusher

Whenever a new Benefit product launches tremors are sent throughout the bloggersphere, until BOOM it launches and any Benefit counter is like the epicentre of some huge beautyquake. I mostly seem to join in the hype eventually… I bought this blusher secondhand from a friend which is why it looks a little bit loved and the pretty symbol has gone from the blush.

Majorette was quite revolutionary for the blogging world as it is one of the first cream to powder blushers. It is a gorgeous peachy pink shade which would suit most skin tones, I wore this when I had a terrible cold and it just perked my face up a little bit, making me less like death but more alive.

The texture is so silky soft and smooth, and it blends amazingly well onto the skin; either giving you a subtle glow or you can build it up to really define your cheeks. The price is the same as one of Benefits box blushers, coming in at £23.50 – I tend to buy my benefit things at Boots so I can stock up on advantage points too! The staying power on its own isn’t the best, however paired with some primer and foundation it lasts all day with a top up for the evening.

I hope everyone has a fabulous New Year – you will hear from me in 2015.

All the best.

Agnes D.
