Benefit cosmetics has definitely played an important part in my love of make up, I remember their old store just off of Carnaby street and my mum taking me in there one day and treated me to a full face of make up and products! At the time I saw a lady getting her eyelashes tinted and eyebrows, the whole process looked pretty scary to me and something I definitely didn’t need to worry about at the age of 15. However, fast forward 6 years or so and my eyebrows have become one of the most important things in my beauty routine, I don’t feel like my make up is complete without my eyebrows coloured in (not quite a scouse brow, something more along the lines of K Middy)
So as a treat, (yes, to myself) for my 22nd birthday, I popped into my local Benefit Brow Bar in Eldon Square, Boots. A lovely girl called Nicola did my eyebrows for me and guided me with what colour would best suit me. I forgot to mention, over the summer I have been growing my eyebrows out, I hadn’t touched them in 2 months! No tweezers, threading, nothing! So they were definitely in need of some TLC. Here are the before pictures, pretty shocking! Not only was I having a bad hair day, clearly! But a bad face day too.
And now for the after!!!!! SUCH a transformation.
It has been about 10 days or so since I have had them done, and they still have their shape, the colour is fading a little bit, but I’m still really impressed. There have been days that I have been able to go out without having to fill them in, which means I get to lie in a little longer. It cost me £18 for a wax and tint, and the best part… you get you Boots points on it too! Nicola recommended getting your eyebrows done once a month.. maybe my student loan will stretch to this?!
